Welcome to my website! I hope you enjoy exploring it.

I started my jewellery making journey in 2011, when I (quite randomly) decided to take a beginner’s silver jewellery class with the London Jewellery School, where I learnt to make my first silver ring. It’s fair to say that I was bitten by the jewellery making bug… that first year was a whirlwind of buying tools, setting up a workbench, learning lots of skills from the Internet (probably before the massive explosion of YouTube tutorials!) and generally, having fun.

I started my blog at pretty much the same time, as I thought it would be interesting for new jewellers to share my experiences and to know that they were not alone in making stupid mistakes! I’ve loved reading the comments and feedback, over the years!

Then I entered the world of parenthood and, well, I took an 8 year break from making any kind of jewellery. Life has been a whirlwind of work, baby classes and making memories with the children and I wouldn’t change that for the world.  But now, they’re a little older and we’ve started to make space in our home, by ridding ourselves of all the baby stuff, and I’ve started to make space in my head for me.

I’m back to documenting my journey on this blog, and have ventured into the world of social media and YouTube. Please feel free to join me! And do leave me a comment – I love reading them and replying!
